JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Field Materials Coordinator is responsible for
receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products within yard
locations throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Northern
Wisconsin, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Receives and processes shipments from
outside vendors; checks shipping documents for accuracy. Safely and
efficiently handles and moves yard items using power equipment as
needed. Performs work in a safe environment as well as meets safety and
environmental handling of products, packaging, and any other related
items. Coordinates with corporate warehouse and external suppliers to
communicate inventory levels for purchasing. Counts items for proper
receipt of orders; assists in physical inventories. Operates a motor
vehicle to deliver shipments to satellite locations. Communicates
clearly and effectively while working with a team of other InterCon
employees. Identifies operational issues and recommends/implements
strategies to resolve problems. Recognizes and maintains best
housekeeping practices throughout each yard. Works within a continuous
improvement culture. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS Possession of a Class A CDL is required. High school
diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience working in a
materials receiving/delivery role required. Must maintain a valid
driver\'s license as travel is required. Experience providing customer
service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality
standards for service. Basic knowledge of material handling procedures
and techniques. Ability to operate various material handling equipment
(forklift, ATV, stake truck, etc.). Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office.
Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication,
division, etc.). Ability to follow written and verbal instructions;
ability to read/write and interpret documents. Strong written and verbal
communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently as
well as in a team-oriented environment. Ability to be self-motivated to
perform all required tasks of a material handling professional. Must be
able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and perform repetitive physical
motions of bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, and lifting. InterCon
