You Are:
The Server Administrator is responsible for the operation and support of the Accenture Federal Services hybrid cloud infrastructure - including physical and virtual servers, storage, backups, and monitoring. The Server Administrator will monitor and report on infrastructure health, complete service requests, perform troubleshooting/resolution of incidents and patch and update infrastructure components for both on prem MS Hyper-V physical hosts and virtual machines as well as Azure IaaS virtual machines. Perform environment decommissioning Tasks, backup restore Tasks, resource configuration changes/updates to virtual environments, server equipment inventory Tasks, and on-site IT Data Center Server Administration responsibilities.
Here's What You Need:
- US Citizenship required.
- 2 years of experience in Windows Server administration (2019/2022 preferred).
- 2 years of experience in IT infrastructure server virtualization (Hyper-V preferred).
- 2 years of experience in troubleshooting issues related to Windows Server Operations performance and network connectivity.
- 2 years of experience in Data Center Operations (racking servers, installing/managing SAN storage devices, configuring/managing backups per requests, working with centralized monitoring and management systems in large-scale, high-availability environments).
- Ability to travel to the data center when needed.
Bonus Points if you have:
- Experience with server and SAN installation, data cabling (CAT5, CAT6 & Fiber), server hardware racking with power and data connectivity.
- Experience in IT infrastructure monitoring and management (Azure Monitor preferred).
- Ability to work on a team of highly skilled technical resources, accept direction, and is motivated to learn new technologies.
- Ability to quickly troubleshoot issues and provide sound solutions.
- Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Federal NIST standards and guidelines.
- Familiarity with Federal CMMC standards and guidelines.
- Understanding of ITIL principles, use of Enterprise request ticketing systems (i.e., Service Now)
- Experience in coordinating with infrastructure teams (Network team, DBA team, AD team, etc.)
- Experience in working on complex to highly complex projects/tasks.
- Experience in communicating detailed status/reporting regarding technical issues/work to others.

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
