Entertainment Performers at LEGOLAND New York Resort are responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging, and energetic performances across a variety of entertainment offerings. Performers will bring characters and scripted material to life in mainstage shows, interactive guest experiences, atmosphere entertainment, character meet & greets, and seasonal events such as Brick or Treat and Holidays at LEGOLAND.

Some performers may also be cross-trained in select roles, including puppetry and live hosting for the Peppa Pig Show, a newly introduced entertainment experience at the resort.

All performers are required to audition and demonstrate performance ability for applicable roles.

Main Responsibilities:

· Attend rehearsals and training sessions with fellow performers, directors, choreographers, and technical teams.

· Memorize scripts, blocking, and choreography to accurately perform assigned roles.

· Portray scripted and non-scripted character roles with energy, consistency, and strong guest engagement.

· Adapt performances based on guest interactions while maintaining character integrity.

· Perform under various conditions, including outdoor environments, extended performance tracks, and physically demanding roles.

· Work collaboratively with costuming, stage management, and technical teams to ensure all show elements are executed smoothly.

· Maintain proper care and handling of costumes, puppets, props, and performance spaces.

· Follow all LEGOLAND and Merlin Entertainments safety policies.

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Strong acting, movement, and performance abilities with a commitment to high-energy entertainment.
• Ability to engage and interact with guests of all ages in a themed entertainment setting.
• Performers may be required to operate puppets, large costume characters, or themed props, including elements used in the Peppa Pig Show (training provided).
• Must be comfortable performing in various weather conditions and themed costumes.
• Singing, dancing, improv, puppetry or stunt performance skills are a plus.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding roles.
• Availability for rehearsals, training, and performance dates as scheduled, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
