Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience working with investigative tools or data analysis.
- 4 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, or related fields.
- Experience with SQL, data analytics, and collaboratory.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in product policy analysis and identifying policy risks.
- Experience in working with abuse, spam, fraud or malware.
- Experience using statistical analysis and hypothesis testing.
- Experience with AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Trust and Safety, or Cybersecurity.
- Excellent influencing skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. We partner with teams across Google to deliver bold solutions in abuse areas such as malware, spam and account hijacking. A diverse team of Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers, we work to reduce risk and fight abuse across all of Google’s products, protecting our users, advertisers, and publishers across the globe in over 40 languages.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multi-quarter, high-visibility trust projects (e.g., build critical trust protections to fight abuse in user generated content space, scale user base to key markets while meeting trust metrics). Analyze and debug escalations and identify trends that can indicate bigger product risks.
- Drive project delivery, challenge proposals and identify risks. Manage multiple projects of moderate to high complexity and scope against crashed timelines, collaborate with other teams and functions (e.g., Engineer, Program Manager, Legal, Policy).
- Drive usage and adoption of AI efforts for effective abuse fighting by identifying opportunities to reduce Operational Expenditure (OPEX), catch abuse faster or improve quality of decision making.
- Perform on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis, including weekend coverage as needed.
