Job Summary
The Behavioral Sleep Medicine Laboratory (P.I. Kelly Baron, PhD, MPH) is recruiting a full time research assistant for NIH funded research studies of sleep/circadian rhythms, aging and metabolism to assist with data collection in ongoing lab projects.
Responsibilities
· Collaborates with the study team to meet goals for participant recruitment and screening.
· Schedules and conducts study assessments, including administration of questionnaires and cognitive assessments, sleep measurement equipment set up and download.
· Complies with ethical standards for research involving human subjects.
· Completes other activities as delegated by the PI and the project director.
· Opportunities to contribute to scientific manuscripts and abstracts.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific field, or equivalency, plus two years of related experience. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills required. A valid Utah Driver’s License may be required in certain departments.
Preferences
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a health-related field, effective communication skills, Candidates who are native Spanish speakers are preferred.
