DIRECTOR, FEDERAL CLIENT SOLUTIONS (DOD)
Reston, VA / Remote

Intact Technology is seeking a sales representative to market and sell Intact’s services to federal Department of Defense (DOD) customers that help them achieve their desired business outcomes while maintaining wonderful relationships. 

This position will be primarily remote. Travel may be required up to 25%.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Account Management
  • Build relationships with client and customer technical staff and end users.
  • Analyze client and customer needs.
  • Provide a high level of client relationship management.
  • Maintain a consistent track record of meeting quota and revenue goals.
Business Development
  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities with new and existing clients within select strategic federal DOD accounts.
  • Manage business relationships with our vendor partners’ sales teams.
  • Clearly articulate Intact and technology partners’ strategic value proposition to high-level executives in all markets.
  • Work closely with Marketing to promptly follow up on qualified leads.
  • Network with business partners, vendors, and independent consultants to remain current with industry and technology developments.
  • Represent and support employer at sales or demonstration presentations, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Present corporate overview and concepts to clients on an as-needed basis via web technology or coordinate with Business consultants.
  • Drive account penetration with new technology and develop license revenue and service opportunities.
  • Research and propose products, systems, and solutions as appropriate.
Operations / Administration
  • Complete all documentation required to complete business transactions.
  • Manage Account maintenance and collection process in cooperation with the Intact Account Receivables team.
  • Intact Sales representatives must maintain all contacts, accounts, forecasts, and pipelines within the Sales Management System.
  • Facilitate cross-sale of Intact services and partner products.
  • Assist in the development of marketing content.
  • Lead effort developing, Statement of Work, Request for proposals, Request for quotes, capability statements, and other business/sales/marketing presentations or documentation.
  • Present all contracts to Intact Management for review, approval, and signature.
General
  • Intact Sales representatives are required to take appropriate vendor sales certifications.
  • Complete other duties as Intact assign to employees from time to time.
  • Work with the internal delivery team to ensure a smooth hand-off of closed opportunities.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience with software and / or services sales.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting and selling into the US Department of Defense (DOD) and/or Intelligence Community (IC).  
  • Customer service skills to listen to customers’ concerns and address their needs.
  • Interpersonal skills to work with various people daily, build relationships, and network.
  • Confidence and strong self-assuredness to succeed in cold-calling customers and making a sale.
  • Communication skills, especially persuasion, to convey the benefits of a product to potential customers.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites and various vendor conferences.
