    Responsible for the management and supervision of all fire protection systems on board Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay. This includes the Management and Supervision of work activities of your team members in the installation, maintenance, code compliance, and specifications. fire alarm layout activities, supervise provide submittal packets. Design gaseous, dry, and wet agent systems. Prepare submittals, estimates, and project reports. Manage all special hazards project that requires inspections, maintenance, repair, installation, and test complex systems. Interact with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).

    Supervise projects. Compile as-builts and close-out documents. Oversee system commissioning. Manage periodic testing. Resolve impairments/deficiencies. Prepare documentation and records. Submittal Preparation and System Layout, Prepare and approve shop drawings. Have at least 5 years of experience in FAS or in special hazards systems.

    • NICET level III certified in fire alarm or certified in special hazards systems.
    • 5 years’ verifiable experience as a certified NICET Technician.
    • Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger endorsement for size and type vehicle required.
    • Must have and wear at all time, substantial steel toed shoes.
    • Successful candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must continually meet eligibility requirements for access to all areas of naval Submarine Base Kings Bay.
