CRIMP and PREPARE TECHNICIAN The Crimp and Prepare Technician specializes in high volume, fast termination processes for basic Audio and Video cable termination and working as part of a DEDICATED & TALENTED TEAM with state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment, for the processing of coaxial and other types of cables! C-SHOP Crimp and Prepare Technician Requirements: 1. Strong attention to detail 2. Committed to quality 3. Prior experience in soldering or hand tool assembly work 4. Knowledge of basic cable assembly and manufacturing processes. 5. Ability to review and process formal work order assignments/associated Bill of Materials 6. Ability to kit the cable, connectors or components in accordance to the B.O.M. 7. Accurately assemble (soldered or crimped properly), inspect and test work according to quality system requirements. 8. Able to lift to 50-75lbs (utilizing safe lifting practices) 9. Safety conscience 10. Effective communicator Key Responsibilities: Provide mechanical inspection and basic continuity testing before submitting work for final test and approval. Demonstrate knowledge and experience in detail-oriented jobs, accuracy with numbers and part numbers. Maintain a clean and organized workstation and adhere to all guidelines for PPE, tool use, etc. Consistently demonstrate excellent organizational skills, ability to access information from the computer system, attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication and the ability to efficiently manage time. Workdays: Monday-Friday 7:30 am -4:00pm EOE Job Type: Full Time Starting Rate: $17.00 hr@markertek.com
