    We are seeking a Medical Customer Service Representative. This role involves engaging with customers in a healthcare context, providing solutions to their inquiries, and ensuring their satisfaction.     Responsibilities:


    • Address customer inquiries via phone and email, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.

    • Analyze and resolve requests from customers, including policyholders, beneficiaries, and healthcare providers.

    • Stay informed about changes in our healthcare plans and communicate necessary information to customers.

    • Manage customer complaints and troubleshoot issues in a detail oriented and polite manner.

    • Use our systems for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting, maintaining accurate customer records.

    • Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient service.

    • Inform customers about pre-authorization for medical treatment, claim status, benefit information, and provider information.

    • Greet customers in a detail oriented manner, adhering to the suggested script.

    • Escalate complex queries or issues to your manager for further assistance.

    • Educate members and healthcare practitioners about the details of members' benefits.

    • Document and track all calls and interactions via our computer system.

    • Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service role

    • Proven experience in a Medical High Volume Call Center

    • Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook

    • Experience or background in Health Care

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Ability to handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions

    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet

    • High level of patience and empathy towards customers

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

    • Willingness to work in shifts as customer service may require 24/7 support

    • High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in a relevant discipline will be appreciated
