Triple Hatter

Salary Range: 70,000 - 150K (salary based on experience)

Summary/Objective
The Triple Hatter encompasses the responsibilities of a Superintendent, Quality Control Manager (QMC), and Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO). This position plays a pivotal role in overseeing construction projects, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.

Superintendent Duties
Essential Functions:
Work collaboratively with the assigned Projector Manager on all facets of the project from pre-construction meetings to post-project documentation.

Perform all project start-up and close-out activities as described in the Procedures Manual.
Responsible for Project Site Utilization Plan and documentation as required per specifications and on-site existing condition.
Responsible for scheduling, sequencing, and phasing of construction activities.
Responsible for ordering and scheduling delivery and pick up of any equipment and/or material required by General Contractor.
Perform the required project line and grade layout responsibilities.
Prepare and distribute all field-related project administrative documents.
Must Display the utmost of personal integrity and have the ability to work effectively in a team environment and to contribute significantly to extending a culture of collaboration, both internally and externally, in order to maintain the superior reputation of Syncon, LLC.
Assist other Superintendents as required.
Other Duties as assigned.

Site Safety Health Officer (SSHO) Duties
Essential Functions:

Perform quality and safety inspections to comply with contract and regulatory requirements.
Provide site compliance through daily site inspections and daily safety reports.
Development and/or review of APP, AHAs, crane and rigging plans.
Provide management and oversight of site-specific safety activities.
Prioritization of daily tasks to maintain safety compliance and project schedule.
Ensure that the sub-contractor's comply with all local, state, and federal safety and health requirements.
Conduct safety training for all employees at the weekly toolbox talks, including 1^st day site safety orientations.
Maintain the OSHA 300 form.
Maintain a safety and health deficiency tracking system that monitors outstanding deficiencies until resolution.
Maintain current SDS list of hazardous chemicals on site.
Prepare monthly contractor safety self-evaluation checklist.
Other duties as assigned.

Quality Control Manager Duties
Essential Functions:

Perform a complete study and review of all Contract Documents in order to have working knowledge of the plans and specifications.
Create, update, and maintain the project submittal log and all other project specific quality control reports.
Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance with project specifications by direct review and by leveraging the knowledge and experience of others in the project team or trade specialists when necessary.
Chair and document QC meetings with the Project Stake Holders, and provide written minutes as described in project specific contract documents.
Provide written daily QC reports that document activities that are being constructed in conformance with each specific project's established standard and constructively confront non-conformances to produce the desired outcome in a timely manner.
Establish, implement, and maintain the Three Phases of Control, Preparatory, Initial and Follow Up for project.
Conduct Initial inspections to verify that initial installation of work is in accordance with the contract documents and approved submittals.
Coordinate and document the testing and commissioning of building systems.
Document final inspections, certificates of occupancy and acceptance of the works and various phases thereof
Perform other duties as assigned.

10. Safety Awareness: Commitment to promoting and maintaining a safe work environment in all aspects of construction work.

Required Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent
4+ years of industry experience in general contracting comprising of commercial/government.
Must have a proven track record of meeting production, quality, and customer service standards in a fast-paced construction environment.

Preferred Education and Experience

5+ years experience as a CQCM and implementing construction quality control programs for large scale construction projects.
5 years of construction industry Safety experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
Proficient in Procore
