We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper with property management experience to join our team in Kissimmee, Florida. This Contract to Permanent opportunity is ideal for a candidate with strong accounting skills who can support financial operations and maintain accurate records. The right candidate will have a solid background in bookkeeping, including reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, along with proven experience in the property management industry.
Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform account reconciliations and bank reconciliations to maintain precise financial records.
• Oversee month-end close tasks, including journal entries and general ledger updates.
• Prepare financial statements and reports to support business decision-making.
• Ensure payroll processing is accurate and complies with relevant regulations.
• Utilize software such as QuickBooks, AppFolio, and Microsoft Excel to manage accounting tasks effectively.
• Conduct data entry with a high level of accuracy to maintain updated financial information.
• Handle property management accounting responsibilities, including tracking expenses and revenues.
• Support compliance with accounting principles and company policies during audits or reviews.
• Experience in Property Management or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of bookkeeping or related accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation processes.
• Strong knowledge of financial software, including QuickBooks, AppFolio, and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with general ledger management and journal entry preparation.
• Familiarity with payroll processing and month-end close procedures.
• Ability to prepare accurate financial statements and reports.
• Background in property management accounting is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
