About Us

Sunstar Engineering Americas (SEA), a highly successful manufacturer of automotive adhesives, sealants, and coating products, is seeking an experienced individual to join our team.

About the Position

Support of Research and Development of Interior Projects. Projects can involve (but are not limited to) research, new products, existing products, improvements, validation, sourcing, domestication, customer requests, quality, or manufacturing support.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

Learn and perform lab procedures, data analysis, and timely reporting of results.

Identify and report unusual results or issues promptly.

Prepare formulations, materials, specimens, and conduct testing as per specifications.

Evaluate raw materials and processes to ensure stability and compatibility.

Perform chemical lab procedures and analytical tests, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Collaborate on APQP teams and follow required safety, labeling, and organizational standards.

Support daily operations, including cleaning, ordering materials, and waste disposal according to company policies.

Requirements

Associates degree in science related field or a High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 1 year laboratory experience. Other related experience can apply with sufficient experience.

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Basic understanding of laboratory, environmental, and safety procedures is a must.
