Emergency Care Seven emergency department (ED) beds Froedtert & MCW
board-certified ED physicians, registered nurses and paramedics In-house
lab and pharmacy services In-house imaging, including low-dose CT scan,
X-ray and ultrasound Paramedics are required to have a at least 1 year
of experience Requirements: Paramedic with 1+ year experience required.
3+ years Paramedic experience preferred. Minimum High School Diploma or
equivalent required. Paramedic Certification in good standing in the
state of Wisconsin is required American Heart Association (AHA) Basic
Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) is required Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or an AHA approved equivalents is
required Special Skills: Fluent in English, both written and oral
Commitment to the highest ideals of the nursing profession in caring for
patients. Collaborative teamwork skills within an interdisciplinary
group focused on patient care. Ability to work independently. Ability to
exercise independent judgment. Exhibits strong decision-making skills.
