QUALIFICATIONS:
• 2 years of mechanical background or equivalent work experience is a plus.
• Ability to understand production systems.
• Efficiently manage your time - excellent attendance is required.
• Positive attitude and the ability to work well independently and as one team.
• Ability to work periods of time in heat and cold as dictated by outside temperatures.
• Welding, fabrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical experience are a plus but not required; we can train you!

Job Description:
Spectro Alloys is at the heart of aluminum recycling! We are currently expanding our business and looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our Maintenance Team in Rosemount, MN.

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for mechanical and, preventative maintenance repairs, and very basic electrical maintenance on plant equipment. We offer on-the-job training and a career track for everyone who aspires to go further with Spectro Alloys.

WORK SCHEDULE:
• 12.50-hour shift.
• Night Shift: 4:30 pm - 5:00 am
• Maintenance positions have rotating schedules of 38 to 50 hours per week.
• 3-2-2-3 rotating schedule (time and a half for over 40 hours)

WAGES:
• $28.00 - $33.00 hourly base pay, commensurate with experience.

Bi-Weekly Productivity Bonus Incentive
• $3/hr additional is guaranteed for the first 90-days if attendance goals are met.
• After 90 days, up to $6/hr additional for reaching production and attendance goals.
• Opportunities for overtime

JOB DUTIES:
• Maintain the plant equipment including motors, rubber/steel belt conveyors systems, and production-related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems with support.
• Inspect and maintain the functionality of production machines.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools (tools are provided).
• Safety checks on equipment.
• Communicate with Maintenance and Production teams.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Safely operate all equipment.
