Job Overview:
This position is responsible for coordinating clinical education across all program clinical sites to ensure safe, fair, and effective learning experiences for all students in the Radiologic Technology Program.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
Proficiency in curriculum development, instruction, and evaluation. Maintains current knowledge of the professional discipline and educational methodologies through continuing professional development. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART)
3-4 years experience Clinical, in the professional discipline
1-2 years experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited radiography program
Job Responsibilities:
Establishes clinical education schedules and correlates with didactic education.
Participates in didactic and clinical instruction as needed.
Evaluates and advises students.
Student recruitment and selection.
Communication. Acts as a liaison between Program Coordinator and clinical preceptors. Acts as a liaison between clinical preceptors and students. Acts a liaison between clinical site staff and students.
Supports the Program Coordinator to assure effective program operations.
Participates in the assessment process and serves as a member of the program Advisory Board.
