This is skilled work in the maintenance repair and installation in buildings and assigned areas using equipment as required. Carries out duties both independently and as a team member on specific assigned projects. Ensures inspections of assigned zones are carried out and deficiencies are recorded and corrected in a timely manner. Coordinates department repairs with the least amount of impact on patient care. Ensures all paperwork is completed on time and correctly.
High School Diploma or GED and 1 year or more of experience in general maintenance experience. Demonstrates knowledge of basic general maintenance such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and carpentry. Valid state driver's license.
Experience in a Healthcare environment.
