Overview

  • Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with generous benefits and wages ranging from $15.57 - $20 per hour. Wage determinations will be based on similar experience

We are looking for a Front Desk Attendant to support our Senior Housing community in Minneapolis, MN! Serving as an ambassador of the community during non-business hours, this position provides building oversite and a customer experience that will always be remembered with the highest level of responsiveness. This receptionist schedule includes; 

  • 16 hours every two weeks
  • Part time, Evening shifts
  • Includes every other weekend and holiday rotation

Responsibilities/Job Description

  • Acknowledge and greet all residents, guests, staff, volunteers and vendors with utmost courtesy and urgency, opening doors and providing assistance where appropriate and possible
  • Assure prompt and positive action on all resident service opportunities including requests, complaints, questions, concerns and suggestions. Attempt to resolve them and/or elevate to the appropriate building staff per building policy. Follow-up with clients to assure successful completion
  • Answer the telephone, using professional telephone etiquette, taking accurate messages and ensuring their delivery
  • Clearly communicate issues and outcomes to building manger, supervisor and following shift
  • Keep lobby/common spaces and entry neat and clean and welcoming to residents and visitors

Qualifications

  • No previous experience required, but prefer work experience in a customer service setting
  • Excellent customer service skills and proficiency, teamwork and positive demeanor required
  • Organization skills and orientation to accuracy and detail
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
