In the Product Security team, our mission is to enable a secure and compliant business by effectively managing threats and risks while spreading security awareness and education, resulting in an optimized and adaptive organization.

As a Lead DevSecOps Architect, you will be at the forefront of the team that works to "shift left" the identification and mitigation of technology vulnerabilities across Humana. As the Lead Architect, you will design, develop, and optimize our DevSecOps software applications with industry standard security scanning tools. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the success of our ASP.NET applications hosted in Microsoft Azure.

As a technology leader, you will work closely with the product team to shape the technical direction of our product. You will support the team to align to development standards and best practices while delivering with a SAFe Agile methodology. As a security leader, you will partner with other cross-functional teams across IT to build a best-in-class framework and improve the engineer experience.

We would love to meet you if some or all of the below describe you:

1. Have extensive, proven DevSecOps experience as an Application Architect, Software Architect, or similar role.

2. Able to understand both strategic and expedient views and balance their trade-offs.

3. Are driven, thorough, and self-directed, and customer obsessed.

4. Able to lead through influence and persuasion.

5. Can leverage Clean Architecture principles for organizing ASP.NET applications.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. 7+ years of proven experience as an Application Architect, Software Architect, or similar role.

2. 7+ years' experience and strong proficiency in programming languages such as C# and familiarity with Java, Python, or Ruby.

3. 7+ years of hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core, Azure services, CosmosDB, and Postgres.

4. 5+ years' experience in design, development, and testing of software applications.

5. 2+ years of project leadership experience.

6. Experience with Terraform or other IaC tools.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.

Work-At-Home Requirements

• WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.

• A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25×10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.  

• Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.

• A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$139,500 – $192,000 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
