SUPERVISOR: Great Achievers Supervisor

JOB TYPE: Temporary, part-time
SCHEDULE: 14 hours/week; Mondays-Thursdays from 2-5:30pm; Aug 5, 2024 to June 5, 2025
PAY RATE: $11.66/hour

POSITION PURPOSE
To assist GA Supervisor and Teacher(s) in grades 1-5 for 21st Century Community Learning Center (Great Achievers).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform essential functions satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made upon request to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Assist Teacher(s) and GA Supervisor with preparing daily lessons
Assist with homework and lessons for individual students and students in small groups
Assist with maintaining an environment conducive to learning by managing student behavior
Prepare displays, posters, signs, handouts as required
Compile grades and statistics as required
Assist with supervising students traveling to and from the school, on field trips, or home
Follow USDA and CACFP meal pattern when providing afterschool snacks

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED:

High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

Experience working with children in an educational setting

Image: Portray a positive image of the Library; be a strong public ambassador and promote Library programs, materials and services.
