We are hiring a Demand Planner to support our Food Service Team in our Bloomington, MN corporate office. In this role, you will be responsible for producing an operational forecast for as long as an 18-month horizon specific to our frozen pies and Freshetta pizza brands. You will also work with the Global Supply Chain and Business Unit Sales teams to execute sales plans and assist in mitigating gaps within supply/demand in the short term.
Responsibilities:
- Supports the monthly consensus process for assigned business unit(s) for as long as an 18-month outlook.
- Prepares and presents various analyses of forecast performance of specific business units and brands to management as needed.
- Reviews historical sales trends, marketing, and financial forecasts; prepares forecast data; and evaluates forecast results.
- Inputting sales and marketing intelligence for each operating unit for use in forecast systems.
- Working with sales organization(s), national sales accounts, marketing, and related forecasting and planning groups.
- Provides timely updates and analysis to Supply Chain partners to identify scenario planning opportunities.
Qualifications:
- 4-year degree in a related field plus at least 3 years of experience in demand planning or forecasting, preferably in consumer packaged goods (CPG)
- Must have an understanding of project management processes and supply chain principles.
- Basic understanding JDA/Blue Yonder, IRI/Nielsen, functionality, business, processes as well as related interfaces and data exchanges as they correlate to supply chain.
- Must possess strong written and oral communication skills as well as strong presentation skills.
- Must have the ability to understand and create budgets, position requires intermediate financial analysis skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is $58,500 to $97,500 annually with eligibility for a 5% annual incentive bonus that is based on organizational performance. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to education, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
