Keno Shift Supervisor

Description:

Summary:

Responsible for assisting with the day to day operation and direct supervision of assigned activities within the Keno department. Oversee overall department and/or shift(s) as assigned. Ensure daily operations and experiences meet guest expectations. Appropriately respond to and manage any escalated departmental concerns and guest and/or employee challenges.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for training, developing, measuring performance, disciplining, and/or scheduling department staff, as assigned
  • Supervise Keno operations and employees, ensuring compliance of all gaming regulations and internal policies and procedures
  • Review payouts, settle disputes, and report any unusual issues or incidents to the Director
  • Responsible for administrative duties including verifying and balancing the main bank
  • Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow employees
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • 1 year of previous supervisory experience, preferably within a Keno department
  • Knowledge of Keno terminology/odds
  • Ability to effectively communicate and lead in small groups, as well as on an individual-basis
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
  • Verify right to work in the United States

  • Occasionally push/pull, lift and/or carry up to 20lbs.
  • Occasionally bend, reach, twist, squat, communicate via paging system, and distinguish between shades of color
