Looking for an Instructional Designer to join our Epic training team. We seek candidates with a solid combination of strong training capabilities and proficiency in technology.
Join us in shaping impactful learning experiences at the intersection of education and healthcare technology.
What's Available:

Fulltime, 80 hours biweekly (1.0 FTE)

Monday-Friday core business hours with on-call and off-hours support as needed

Remote/ Hybrid work options for residents in WI, MN, or IA only, with an average need of 2 days per month on-site for necessary in person trainings.
Primary responsibilities include:

Design instructional management systems

Evaluate new eLearning materials

Create educational content

Design and revamp both new and established learning models

Implement feedback from program reviews

Train others on how to deliver learning material

Keep up to date with Epic build changes (quarterly upgrades, hyperdrive conversion)

Keep training content/environment updated
An Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Bachelor's degree in IT, or a related field or equivalent years of experience and education

Clinical and Epic experience is helpful, but not required

Strong Organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills

Job Description:
Designs and develops training programs, courses, or other instructional materials or educational tools.

Main Responsibilities:
1. Designs learning solutions targeted at employees, students, or clients of the organization.
2. Collaborates with subject matter experts to ensure that content is accurate and thorough.
3. Utilizes multiple formats, including print, audio, visual, and multimedia, and selects the appropriate format for the target audience or content.
4. Evaluates the results of training programs and modified future programs to better meet training goals.
5. Performs work under general supervision.
6. Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
7. Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
8. May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.
