Mainframe Programmer Analyst Senior for a Service Delivery environment.
This programmer analyst position will be required to support mainframe
activities to maintain a high level of availability and stability for
one or more applications including incident/problem analysis and
resolution, change deployment and certification, application
performance, application operations management and development support.
Candidate will be required to perform analysis on COBOL source code,
identify programming solutions and install according to prescribed
change governance and methodologies. Additional skill set will require
knowledge of IMS, DB2, JCL and MVS environment. Strong technical skills,
critical thinking and good problem solving skills required. Teamwork,
collaboration, and customer orientated is a must. Training will be
provided to the right candidate. This role is remote eligible. What you
will be doing: Provides technical support activities for a software
production processing environment. Installs, maintains, and supports
application/source code and/or its components and subsystems including
third party software. Detects, diagnoses, and reports related problems.
Analyzes and resolves incidents, problems or known errors related to
