Requisition Summary
The North American Materials team is looking for a seasoned and self-directed Master Data Managerto help chart the company's Master Data Management roadmap, build a solid Master Data team, enable our consumption strategy for master data, drive data quality, and support data governance processes.The Master Data Manager focus is to drive innovation and deliver solutions that change the way we do business and move PACCAR into the future and will work closely with technical and business counterparts. Successful candidates will be highly self-directed, excellent problem-solvers and be able to work with all levels of the organization. Strong leadership skills and excellent communication skills are required. This role is hands-on and requires both technical depth and strong capabilities to understand business concepts. Candidates should have exceptional functional and technical skills in master data implementations, data engineering, data stewardship, and application integration.
Job Functions/Responsibilities
Build and manage a strong MDM team
Design and implement master data solutions in collaboration with product owners, reporting/dataanalysts, and business partners within an Agile/Scrum methodology
Lead technical design and implementation by demonstrating strong solutioning skills and best practices resulting in robust, scalable MDM solutions
Ensure master data product and technical features are delivered to spec and on-time
Proactively support product health by building solutions that are automated, scalable, and sustainable - be relentlessly focused on minimizing defects and technical debt
Provide post-implementation production support forMDM capabilities
Upwards of 25% travel in first year (decreasing to 10%)
Qualifications
Strong functional and technical background in master data solution development and software development lifecycles
Substantive expertise in EBX, Informatica, or other MDM platform, Integrations, ETL/ELT, and reporting/analytics tools, APIs, and web services
Hands-on experience with configuration and tuning of match/merge rules
Hands-on experience in messaging and integration technologies
Develop common data models, technical design, and integrations for mastered domains
8+ years of experience in technical master data management roles
2+ years of experience with AWS and related services (e.g., EC2, S3, SNS, Lambda, IAM, Snowflake) preferred
Ability to plan and execute tasks in a structured manner
Logical, perceptive, detail-oriented, and solution-oriented mindset
Deep understanding of full-stack technologies and programming languages (Python preferred)
Experience with participating in projects in a highly collaborative, multi-discipline team environment
ITIL Foundations Certification preferred
Advanced project management training or equivalent work experience a plus

Wage Scale or Salary Range
At PACCAR, we value talent and promote growth and development. We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for Master Data Manager is $93,000 - $132,300.00 annually. This position is also eligible for a holiday gift. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
