Job Description
JOB REQUIREMENTS: What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be Documenting,
analyzing, following up on injuries, safety suggestions, & near misses.
Ensuring the organization complies with all current safety regulations
and that all employees are aware of safety requirements. Inspecting
workplace environments to verify compliance with federal laws,
regulations & requirements. Assist in investigating accidents to
identify root problems, eliminate existing dangers & develop solutions
that will reduce the risk of other accidents from occurring. Organize in
class & on floor safety trainings to instruct all workers on proper
workplace behavior. Train & support Area Managers, Coordinators &
employees to complete their Safety responsibilities while looking for
continual improvement opportunities. Develop emergency preparedness
plans & create employee resources to direct workers in potentially
dangerous situations Coordinate emergency safety drills. Assist with
safety audits, New Hire Safety Orientation, PPE Assessments, Safety
Committee, etc. Assess and control hazards utilizing JSAs, JHA\'s, risk
assessments\' etc. Other duties and projects as assigned by the EHS
