Required Skills: | Minnesota Tier 3 or 4 teacher licensure in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or Emotional Behavior Disorders (EBD) is preferred, but the ability to obtain an Out of Field Permission endorsement to a current Minnesota teaching license will be considered as will eligibility for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 license in EBD and/or ASD under certain circumstances. Experience working with K-12 students who experience challenging behaviors is preferred. |

Job Description: |
Lakes Country Service Cooperative, is growing and hiring Special Education Teachers to join our staff at Lakes Country Academy, a level IV program, in Fergus Falls, Minnesota for the 2025-2026 school year, with possible starting opportunities during the spring of 2025.
Located in the west-central Minnesota lakes area, Lakes Country Academy (LCA) provides specialized services to students who are referred by their resident school district. LCA provides an integrated and collaborative approach where teachers and staff work collaboratively to teach academic and/or functional skills, workability/employability skills, and integrates social emotional learning, trauma-informed practices, and positive behavior regulation skills into day-to-day programming. Our team consists of highly trained professionals who are supported by administration, paraprofessionals, behavior specialists (BCBA and RBTs), a school psychologist, and a school social worker. Join a staff of experienced and dedicated professionals to experience a 2:1 staff to student ratio environment with ample opportunities to truly make a difference in the lives of our youth.
