We are looking for a skilled Financial Project Manager to lead the implementation of QuickBooks Enterprise for a company based in Saint Louis, Missouri. This contract position requires an individual with expertise in financial systems and software integrations to streamline accounting processes across multiple entities. The role will involve managing various aspects of the transition, including data migration, process optimization, and user training.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the implementation of QuickBooks Enterprise, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
• Analyze existing accounting processes and develop strategies to improve efficiency across 28 separate entities.
• Coordinate the migration of vendor/customer lists, open balances, and other essential data, consulting with auditors as needed.
• Facilitate training sessions for staff, providing direct user training or supporting a train-the-trainer model.
• Collaborate with internal leads and managers to document policies and procedures during the transition.
• Streamline accounts payable processes and workflows to reduce manual data entry and improve approval efficiency.
• Manage the integration of the membership database with financial systems to support disability and supplemental income check processing.
• Monitor progress and address challenges related to hybrid work environments and system delays.
• Partner with auditors and external consultants to ensure compliance and accuracy during the implementation.
• Provide ongoing support to ensure the successful adoption of the new system.
• Proven experience in financial project management, particularly with software implementations.
• Expertise in QuickBooks Enterprise and familiarity with other financial systems such as Sage 100.
• Strong ability to analyze and optimize accounting processes across multiple entities.
• Knowledge of data migration techniques, including transferring historical transactions and open balances.
• Proficiency in managing accounts payable workflows and improving approval processes.
• Demonstrated ability to train and support users in financial software applications.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with hybrid work environments and ability to address associated challenges.
