These responsibilities are carried out in accordance with the mission and philosophy of Catholic Charities and the agency policies and procedures, including but not limited to the responsibilities listed below. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Food Pantry: A. Unloads shipments of food; B. Stocks pantry shelves; C. Rotates stock to prevent spoilage; D. Maintains pantry (including refrigerators and freezers) clean and organized; E. Assists volunteers in preparing bags of food for distribution; F. Completes intakes and other necessary paperwork as it pertains to services at the CONSERNS-U G. Provides information and referral to clients as needed; H. Collaborates with and orders food from Regional Food Bank and Food Pantries of the Capital District.
