<p>We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to oversee financial operations and reporting for our organization in Hood River, Oregon. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and a solid background in accounting principles and managerial responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and collaborating with auditors.</p><p><br></p><p>Please send resumes to Peter.Danielson@roberthalf.c0m if interested. </p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Prepare and review accurate financial statements and profitability reports.</p><p>• Manage all core accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and month-end closings.</p><p>• Conduct inventory roll forwards and margin analysis to support operational and financial decisions.</p><p>• Oversee fixed asset management and ensure proper accounting procedures are followed.</p><p>• Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors for annual financial and 401K audits.</p><p>• Supervise accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes to maintain efficiency.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.</p><p>• Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, fostering growth and development.</p><p>• Monitor billing functions to ensure timely and accurate processing.</p><p>• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations.</p>
