JOB REQUIREMENTS: Production Supervisor\--Metal Manufacturing Pivot
Point, located in Hustisford, WI, is an innovative, growing 50+ employee
metal fastener manufacturing facility looking for a Production
Supervisor with hands on Machining and Supervisory/Lead experience to
add to our team. We are looking for someone with a Bachelor\'s Degree
and/or 3+ years of Supervision/Leading employees in a manufacturing
environment. Also requires experience with Process/Continuous
Improvement, Work Flow and knowledge of Production Planning, as well as
hands on strong machine and mechanical reasoning skills. This position
is a balance of working both on the Production Floor as well as in the
office. Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as strong
analytical and computer skills are required. Hours are determined by
Production Department needs, but 8am-5pm Monday-Friday would be the
typical schedule. This position reports to the Production Manager.
Responsibilities include, but aren\'t limited to: Assists in reviewing
and establishing the Production priorities. Analyzes load, demand, and
capacity trends with the Production Manager and Production Planner to
determine short and long-term capacity and resource needs. Resolves
order status and expedites issues from Customer Service. Reviews,
corrects, and balances daily employee time and labor. Works with
Shipping/Receiving to help keep outside operations on-time. Meets daily
with Production Planner and Production Manager to review scheduled
production status and make informed decisions on priorities, job
sequencing, and resource positioning. Ensures that procedures put in
place to address work order on-time accuracy are effective and
maintained. Assists in performing work order on-time PPI analysis to
determine areas in need of corrective action or improvement and
implements these actions. Assists with scheduling when the Production
Planner is out. Implements improvements and is part of problem solving
sessions and continuous improvement meetings. Works with the Team
Coordinators and production employees to identify and implement
improvement projects. Creates work orders for production needs and give
to the Production Manager for assignment to appropriate staff for
completion. Enforces all company rules and policies. Monitors the
effectiveness of plant safety issues and procedures. Coaches, mentors,
and develops employees including assisting in performance reviews,
discipline and hiring of production employees. Coordinates with HR on
same. Creates a good work environment and leads by example as far as
motivation, quality, cleanliness, and safety. Participates in meetings,
seminars, and training sessions to stay apprised of new developments in
field. Promotes the company mission statement, vision and follows ISO
