Job Description

 
Participation in team meetings, agency in-service training program and community outreach Interpretation of diagnostic results and evaluations. Provision of individual, family and group therapy in out-patient clinic or substance abuse clinic based setting. Contact and coordination with community providers, pediatricians, schools other entitles where appropriate. Regular communication with psychiatrist, nurse, and physicians responsible for the care of the identified client. Hospital: Graduate from an accredited school of social work. Current registration in NYS as an LMSW or LCSW required. 2+ years experience with patient population required. Experience in a hospital or community health agency and additional language fluencies preferred. Computer literacy preferred. Facilities: Current registration in NYS as an LMSW, LCSW or LMHC plus 2+ years experience working with at risk populations: children, adolescent, adults and family required. Must have a car and a valid driver's license. Spanish bilingual, CASAC/CASAC-T, substance abuse experience desirable. Position may be full-time or part-time and temporary or permanent, depending on need of facility. Weekend work may be required. After one (1) year of employment, may be eligible to apply for our Education Program, to move on with your career in healthcare. Salary: Starting salary is approximately $17.00-$20.00 per hr. Job Location: Positions available within the five boroughs of NYC.
