Job Description

Diamond Manufacturing of Bluffton, an Equal Opportunity Employer, is looking for individuals with the following qualifications:

Must be willing to wear a respirator during the paint process
Experience in wet painting processes in a manufacturing environment
Ability to mix the coating product with recommended ratio of reducer
Ability to adjust equipment to control spray pattern for optimum finish
Requires physical dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Execute the Wet Film Thickness (WFT) verification accurately
Ability to prioritize responsibilities
Responsible for proper inventory of paint supply needs; provide proper notification when supplies are needed
Ability to use diaphragm paint pumps
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining paint guns and equipment
Ability to disassemble and reassemble paint guns
Forklift responsibilities when needed
Willing to work in areas of the plant when needed (assembly)
Excellent time management skills; work without supervision
Must be quality focused and able to pay very close attention to detail
Ability to work in a team environment
Observe all plant and safety guidelines

Diamond Manufacturing works a four (4) day/10-hour work schedule Monday through Thursday. If necessary, overtime work is scheduled on Friday. Starting pay is based on experience with pay increases at 6 months, 12 months and annually thereafter.
