Job Summary

 

The Assembler works independently or as a team to perform necessary tasks within the production process of building, repairing, or reworking quality kits to exceed customer expectations.

 

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintains assigned part bins and daily supply of parts at a station or when roving the line.
  • Performs visual verification of parts and stocks of assigned part bins.
  • Adheres to all company policies, safety standards, single point lessons and standard work in assembly.
  • Places appropriate parts and quantities on the chipboards with high attention to accuracy.
  • Notifies the assembler roving parts or the Lead when parts need replenished.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work area using the company’s 5S model.
  • Identifies and/or initiates appropriate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities related to product, process, and quality either directly or by recommendation through designated channels.
  • Controls further processing and delivery of nonconforming product until deficiencies or unsatisfactory conditions have been corrected.
  • Maintains dexterity to handle various shapes and sizes of parts and tools necessary to perform job responsibilities.

Job Summary

The Warehouse Material Technician is responsible for counting and packaging parts and operating equipment with great attention to safety quality mindset.

 

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Operate material handling equipment and complete Forklift Operators’ Daily Checklist as necessary.
  • Convey materials from storage or worksites to designated areas using FIFO methods.
  • Identifies and/or initiates appropriate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformity relating to product, process, and quality system either directly or by recommendation through designated channels.
  • Controls further processing and delivery of nonconforming product until the deficiency of unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
  • Maintain an orderly and clean work area/zone using sound housekeeping methods.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures and/or Work Instructions applicable to the appropriate job assignment.
  • Read ship lists and follow oral and written communications regarding loading and unloading/proper movement or placement of materials or containers in the proper manner and quantity.
  • Perform daily computer transactions.
  • Coordinate activities with the supervisor to ensure smooth operation of all warehouse related activities.
  • Pick material/stock and process shipping orders/returns of surplus stock, while maintaining stock location integrity.
