Are you ready to put your experience to work at Northrop Grumman? If so. We want you to join our diverse team as a Deployable Avionics Technician 4 for a rotational OCONUS program located at Edwards AFB, CA.
Your Duties include:
Installs, tests, troubleshoots, and repairs avionics systems wiring in aircraft in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions, and FAA regulations. Fabricates, installs and tests installation, routing, clamping and wiring harnesses. Reads wiring diagrams and blueprints. Reads wiring diagrams and blueprints. Ability to operate specialty vehicles. Able to perform work in an approved environment during specified work hours. Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines. Able to relay and receive information. Ability to be subject to a variety of physical conditions.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years additional education and/or related experience.
- Willing/able to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year.
- Have and maintain a valid U.S. passport.
- Accept customer furnished quarters for a period up to 180 days away from primary work location and comply with mobility requirements.
- Meet medical requirements for worldwide travel.
- A complete understanding of Aviation and Aerospace technical data.
- Ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.
- Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A current Top Secret clearance.
- Operational experience.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
