Job Description

 
Safely and efficiently operate a dump truck to transport materials to and from construction sites Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, ensuring secure transportation and delivery Conduct pre-trip inspections of the dump truck to assess and address any mechanical or safety issues Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulations while operating the dump truck Follow instructions from the site supervisor to ensure materials are delivered to the designated location within specified timeframes Maintain accurate records of all deliveries, including mileage, hours of operation, fuel usage, and any incidents encountered on the road Collaborate with team members to support the smooth flow of operations and assist with other tasks as needed Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a dump truck in a construction or similar environment Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Ability to adhere to strict safety protocols and precautions Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials when required Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
