This Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Certified Industrial Hygienist to join our team on an as-needed part-time basis! You will conduct OSHA inspections: investigate odor, safety complaints, or other IH concerns. You will also conduct IAQ/IH surveys and assists Bay West clients in resolving health and safety issues in the work environment.
Your Key Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate chemical and biological hazards such as air quality, ergonomic challenges, or dangerous sound levels. Conduct worksite studies, exposure evaluations, and indoor air quality investigations for industrial and commercial facilities. Direct and perform inspections, monitoring, and sampling. Recommend precautions and corrective actions that should be taken in response to identified hazards. Conduct training and presentations on occupational health safety topics to Bay West clients. Act as a resource and provide expert guidance to Bay West Team. Assess and analyze data and compile reports using Bay West format.
