The Sr. Manager, Biomedical Services role is responsible for the oversight of select SME teams or projects within the National Biomedical Services team. Areas of specific oversight include operations, technical process creation & adherence, support infrastructure evaluation & implementation and Creating a Special Place. Operational responsibilities are inclusive of financial management, staffing evaluation & execution, project management and compliance & risk management. This teammate works in collaboration with Biomedical Services Directors to deliver support to key stakeholders and field biomed teammates through leadership of their team or projects that positively influence technical performance. They will Create a Special Place through focus on teammate connection, development opportunities and engagement.
Technical
Recommend, develop, implement, administer and optimize technical systems and processes by identifying appropriate goals & objectives, project plans, timelines, validation, deliverables and resources required to realize beneficial change and provide effective support for area of expertise
Develop and maintain partnerships with technical vendors and inter-departmental partners within area of expertise for the purpose of product improvement and sustainability
Participate and provide resource for technical education efforts
Oversee plans of correction for any technical quality issues within area of expertise
Teammate Development
Partner with Director on hiring, promoting, evaluations, development, and corrective action processes of teammates in their purview
Partner with field biomedical leadership to serve as a mentor or SME guide for biomed growth and development opportunities
Operations
Participate in budget formulation across areas of expertise, as needed
Drive outcomes for assigned technical initiatives and key deliverables
Evaluate and execute on staffing to align with Village needs
Manage rapport with key Village stakeholders and address concerns appropriately
Conduct appropriate reviews and meetings within area of expertise, presenting summaries and findings to senior leadership
Oversee the management of required equipment and supplies necessary to provide support within area of expertise
Ensure compliance with all DaVita policies, audits, corrective actions, training and programs in accordance with State and Federal
Assists with the creation and implementation of any corrective action needed as a result of internal or external quality assurance or as required by Medicare, OSHA or other governing agencies
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 7 years' experience providing dialysis equipment repair and maintenance service to dialysis facilities
Minimum of 3 years' experience supervising biomedical service teams required
Demonstrated business skills including budget management, project planning skills, organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to identify, define and resolve problems by developing systemic solutions. Ability to execute solutions, to drive implementations and improvements in positive, proactive ways
Demonstrated ability to create clear, effective written and oral communications. Ability to create and deliver concise and effective presentations to all levels of the organization.
Intermediate computer skills sufficient to effectively use the Web, Word, Relationship databases, and Power Point.

Salary/ Wage Range
$82,800.00-$121,600.00 / year
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
