Lisa Cole with Robert Half is partnering with a great company in the Sacramento area that is looking to add a Financial Analyst to join a growing finance team. This position begins with a focus on post-implementation support of a recently deployed SaaS system and will transition into a key contributor role in the implementation of a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. This is a remote position but looking for an employee that lives in the pacific time zone.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for finance end-users experiencing system errors or performance issues.
- Analyze and resolve configuration issues, bugs, and data inconsistencies across financial systems.
- Perform reconciliations and audits to ensure data accuracy and proper interface functionality.
- Maintain clear documentation of issues, resolutions, and configuration changes.
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for ongoing system support.
- Support the planning, selection, and execution of a new ERP system implementation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into system configurations.
- Participate in the design and configuration of core financial modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, etc.).
- Lead and coordinate system testing, including integration and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Coordinate data mapping, cleansing, and migration activities from legacy systems.
- Validate the accuracy and completeness of migrated financial data.
- Provide post-go-live system support, monitor performance, and troubleshoot issues.
- Recommend process improvements and contribute to future system enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a finance systems, ERP support, or financial analyst role.
- Demonstrated experience in a system implementation, upgrade, or migration.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and financial teams.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve system issues, including triaging and retesting.
- Experience with SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Familiarity with financial reporting platforms like Cognos, Hyperion, or Smart View.
