Through the efforts of The Nature Conservancy more than 125 million acres of land have been protected and 100 marine conservation projects have been implemented to benefit people and nature. Now, The Nature Conservancy, like many organizations, has adopted goals for 2030 to contribute to global goals addressing the biodiversity and climate crises. The Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) program in the Chief Conservation Office is supporting leaders and teams in over 75 countries to achieve these goals, in partnership with local communities and Indigenous People, through improved MEL capacity, data, and learning. The Conservation Impact Program Analyst & Coordinator is a key member of the MEL Program and provides project monitoring, grant and project management, administrative, and other general assistance to program staff. 
WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOU
The Conservation Impact Program Analyst & Coordinator manages conservation and program performance data, participate in program planning, coordinates and tracks engagements with teams outside the program, and provides administrative support to the program and project leads. This will include collecting, assembling, and analyzing various types of data, producing maps using GIS software and assisting in the production of reports. The Conservation Impact Program Analyst & Coordinator supports the Program Director by scheduling and planning meetings and coordinating individual performance reviews and program reviews. This may include facilitation of pause, reflect, learn, and adjust workshops based on project monitoring data, staff and stakeholder input.Responsibilities & Scope Coordinates multiple tasks or projects in a timely manner and with attention to detail. May assist with program budget preparation and monitoring. Makes day to day decisions as delegated by the supervisor. Supervises no staff but may oversee and direct work of office volunteers or interns. Works effectively with staff within and outside the program who contribute project monitoring data, input, or other deliverables. 
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
 Bachelor's degree in natural resources management, natural or social sciences, business/non-profit management or related field and 3 years related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Experience supporting complex projects and strategic initiatives in an unstructured environment.  Analytical and project management experience.  Experience with Microsoft Office suite.  Experience coordinating multiple projects.  Experience handling standard business communications.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Multi-lingual and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience appreciated.  4-6 years related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Experience with monitoring, evaluation, and learning in conservation, sustainable development, or related field.  Experience using project monitoring data to support reporting on grants.  Self-starter with ability to generate work plans with limited support in line with the overall conservation strategies.  Ability to coordinate project information from multiple sources to populate databases, create reports and produce manual files.  Fluency in a language other than English (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, Bahasa Indonesia, Chinese, Kiswahili, French) appreciated.  Willingness to learn and develop expertise in new conservation strategies, tools, and domain areas.  Strong team player who can build relationships and work collaboratively across the organization and with partners.  Experience utilizing databases for data entry and report production preferred.  Strong administrative skills including attention to detail and numerical ability.  Strong written and verbal communication skills.  Ability to plan, administer and record results of work-team meetings and activities.  Experience with GIS software to manage, analyze, and visualize data.  Experience with Smartsheets.  Experience with PowerBI.  Experience with R.

SALARY INFORMATION
This position may be based in any country where TNC has an established entity, taking into consideration legal restrictions, such as non-national ratios and immigration processing times. For U.S. based applicants only, the starting pay range for this position is generally within the range of $53,620 - 82,200 for annual base salary and is based on location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. For all other applicants, pay ranges will be in local currency, the pay range will be based on the local labor market, and not tied to the above pay range. Your geographic location will be confirmed during the recruitment and used to determine your actual pay range. Additionally, for all applicants, actual pay will fall within a range based on a variety of factors including, for example, the candidate's qualifications, specific skills, and experience.
