Job Summary

Relocation up to $7,500!

 

  • Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours, 3:00 PM -3:00 AM. Three 12 hour shifts with additional four hours for paperwork etc built into FTE. Monday-Friday with some weekend call (averages at 1 call weekend per month), holiday rotation required.
  • Department: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
  • Title: Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM)- provides clinical and administrative leadership at the unit level.
  • Location: Forsyth Medical Center, Winston Salem, NC
  • Unit Info: Provides expert, around-the-clock intensive care for premature and seriously ill babies born or transferred here from outlying counties. Our specialized team works to help bring little ones home as soon as possible.

  • Requirements: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required, BSN preferred. Current RN licensure required. Candidates must have 3 years of recent NICU experience & prior leadership experience

Qualifications

  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. BSN, preferred. Graduate Degree, preferred.
  • Experience: 
    • Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience, preferred.
    • Prior demonstrated nursing leadership, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: 
    • Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
    • NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
    • Unit/Dept Specific Required Certifications.
  • Additional Skills Required: Successful completion of generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to successfully complete Leader Education & Training.
