REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, public administration or
related area from an accredited institution.
Three (3) years of comprehensive experience in human resources.
Department management experience including developing and implementing
procedures.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication and presentation
skills.
Ability to build trust and work effectively with employees including
experience with conflict resolution and mediation skills.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills,
Ability to deal effectively and fairly with a variety of individuals in a
courteous manner.
Payroll processing experience.
Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize workload.
Knowledge of and experience with AA/EO, FMLA, FLSA, and basic
accounting principles.
Demonstrated computer skills and knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
Occasional long and irregular hours necessitated by special projects,
compliance with deadlines, length of institutional day and week, and
committee service.
Ability to travel out of town as required.
