Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Manager at one of our Saturday farmers market. There are additional opportunities to work other farmers markets.
JOB DUTIES:
- This position will involve getting the items to market setup and breakdown of the display, making sales, receiving payments, and ensuring the display remains fresh and attractive throughout the market day.
- Assist with the setup and arrangement of products in an appealing and organized manner before the market opens.
- Greet customers, provide product information, and offer assistance as needed.
- Make sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit card payments.
- Maintain a clean and well-presented display throughout the market day, restocking and arranging products as necessary.
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and communicating any replenishment needs to the market manager.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and helpful manner, answering questions and providing recommendations.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and successful market operation.
- Help with the breakdown and packing up of the display at the end of the market day.
- Lift and move heavy boxes or equipment as required.
- Attention to detail to ensure the display remains fresh and visually appealing.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Vehicle to take products and display to market.
- Cash handling skills for handling transactions and providing change.

- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- To work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
