REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree, preferably in a social science field (e.g., anthropology, economics, political science, psychology, sociology) or data science; two years of experience (may include experience gained as an undergraduate); experience with coding and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data; meticulous attention to detail; excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills; comfort presenting to different audiences; ability to handle multiple priorities from multiple sources, perform accurately under time pressure and frequent interruptions, and work independently and as part of a team; proficiency with Microsoft Office (i.e., MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); and discretion and judgment with confidential information/data/issues. PREFERRED: experience with multivariate statistical techniques (e.g., regression analysis, clustering, ANOVA, and structural equation modeling), statistical packages (ideally SPSS, Stata, and/or R), social science data, and qualitative data analysis programs (e.g., MAXQDA or ATLAS.ti); familiarity with Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Calendar, and Dropbox; experience using Qualtrics or Google Forms; experience with data visualization using Tableau or other software; familiarity with product and software design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Illustrator, AutoCAD, etc.); familiarity with smart home devices, sensors, and applications; and interest in and willingness to learn new technologies.
