In this role you will be responsible for leading the creation of data products including data tables, ETL methodology, and business measures and calculations required to achieve specific objectives. The Senior Analyst, Analytics Implementation will work with the IA and Sales teams to understand the business questions commonly asked across the sales organization. This role will focus on working cross-functionally to understand what is being used successfully today that can be scaled and gathering feedback for areas of improvement. The primary objective of this role is increased usage of analytics through requirements scoping and user experience discussions. This individual will be a champion for change and the adoption of new visual analytic solutions.

Location: Working Remote USA

In this role you will:

Act as a liaison with the sales organization to understand current business needs and analytics solutions to help address them

Lead scoping discussion with sales team with a focus on capturing specific actions they need to take to achieve business objectives

Guide the development of new analytics tools and process with the Scaled Solutions team, recommend opportunities to consolidate or specialize solutions to best serve the needs of the end user

Gather feedback on what is useful with a focus on how we can increase usage with solutions in a modern technology stack

Act as guide and trainer to business audience; increase awareness of available solutions

Advocate for the use of visual best practices and modern analytics in business processes

Focus on user experience and adoption highlighting opportunities to improve existing solutions

Remove objections to adoption of solutions through the understanding of barriers to usage and developing solutions to overcome those challenges

Understand the availability, structure, and business use of the JM Smucker data environment

What we are looking for:

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics or other Business focus

2+ years of practical analytical experience in Marketing, Finance, Sales or R&D

Demonstrated capabilities in gathering, analyzing and presenting detailed information to a business audience

Experience creating and refining data visualization and analytics tools using solutions like Tableau, Spotfire, Power BI, R, Python

Demonstrated experience gathering project requirements, building business acumen, and managing deliverables

Demonstrated experience delivering complex data concepts into a consumable presentation or format for non-technical audiences

Strong, solution-oriented thinker with project management, critical thinking and a bias for action

Comfortable working with ambiguity and proposing potential solutions to new problems

Demonstrated ability to coach and share best practices

Concise and persuasive communicator
