JOB REQUIREMENTS: Due to recent internal advancements and company
growth, Weinbrenner Shoe Company is looking for motivated candidates for
the Warehouse Manager position. Under the direction of the Director of
Engineering, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for providing
leadership and guidance to the Finished Goods Warehouse staff to ensure
finished goods are received and stored in an organized and accurate
manner, product is shipped timely and efficiently, and works
continuously to improve the efficiency of the warehouse to control and
reduce shipping costs. In this specific role, some expectations include:
Take personal ownership of Finished Goods Warehousing and Distribution
operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program,
operational, and personnel policies and procedures. Maintain staff by
recruiting, selecting, and training employees with the assistance from
Human Resources. Create and maintain a positive work environment.
Actively engage with staff to make improvements to culture and morale.
Continuously strive to find and implement improvements including
automation, equipment upgrades, floor plan layout, ERP system usage,
ergonomics, transportation, and customer relations. Monitor warehouse
Key Performance Indicators (measurables), analyze results to identify
trends, and utilize findings to improve the efficiency and operation of
warehouse and logistics functions. Ensure inventory accuracy. Coordinate
annual physical inventory of FGWH. Support cycle count program. Maintain
condition of warehouse facilities by coordinating regular inspection and
preventative maintenance of equipment and implementing a regular
housekeeping program. Coordinate with the Logistics Manager. Work to
eliminate shipping errors and unnecessary charges. Coordinate root cause
analysis and implement appropriate corrective and preventative actions
for unnecessary charges including chargebacks, incorrect shipments, and
unmet department goals. Stay current on warehousing and transportation
methods, technologies, and trends for consideration to integrate into
WSC operations. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years of warehouse management experience.
Strong experience implementing improvements through root cause analysis,
automation and floor plan layouts from the ground-up. ERP experience.
Strong statistical analytics skills. Strong organizational and time
management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability
to train and coach employees Ability to clearly document technical
