McKesson Pharmacy Systems (MPS) is seeking a high performer to join our growing EnterpriseRx Software Development team. Current Need

Weare seeking afully remote Sr. Associate Software Engineer experienced with Java to join our team in Pittsburgh-PA, Irving-TX, or Columbus-OH.

Position Description

If you have a passion for engineering quality software, we are interested in you. We are seeking an entry level software engineer that will work with our team to achieve fantastic results. As a contributor within the EnterpriseRx DevelopmentResearch and Development team, you will a work in a collaborative and highly skilled Agile team. EnterpriseRx is an enterprise class software solution that manages pharmacy workflow activities and increases revenue into pharmacies.

Key Responsibilities

In concert withProduct Owners, develop and refine user stories

Engage in technical design decisions and code reviews

Develop features and functionality that meets user story acceptance criteria

Remediate defects by solving the reported problem and thoroughly testing to ensure the issue has been solved while leaving the surrounding code in a better state than you found it

Develop and execute unit/integration tests

Engage with cross-functional teams that may include Architects, Developers, Q/A, and Product Management, Project Management, Support and Operations personnel

Demonstrate complex topic and solutions to a diverse audience, including business leaders and customers in Sprint Reviews

Develop expertise inthe retail pharmacy, and clinical services domains as well as McKesson products and services

Align with customers to research and understand customer issues anddevelop creative solutions that exceed expectations

Minimum Requirements

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience

Critical Skills

Object-Oriented development (Java preferred)

Knowledge of relational databases (such as Oracle) and Structured Query Language (SQL)

Additional Knowledge and Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge of web development and an MVC framework such as Angular

Knowledge of web services and corresponding frameworks such as Spring Boot

Ability to learn and implement new technologies and processes

Education

Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$36.31 - $60.51
