Job Summary
The Biostatistics Scientific Collaboration Center (BSC) Director, Dr. Renee Moore, is looking to provide a motivated individual with the opportunity to gain considerable hands-on experience in all aspects of statistical consulting and collaboration. The Data Analyst will work closely with Dr. Moore on tasks such as:
Preparing analytic datasets
Data cleaning
Conducting data analysis
Preparing tables and graphics for publication
Conducting power and sample size calculations
Preparing randomization scheme generation
These tasks will be performed via SAS programming (or R).  Based on experience, performance, and project, the analyst may be able to grow into the lead statistician/data analyst for a project(s).
Essential Functions
SAS programming for preparing analytic datasets, data cleaning, preparing tables/figures
Conduct analyses (e.g., power, descriptive, statistical)
Attend meetings with Dr. Moore, BSC team, and BSC collaborators
Required Qualifications
Interest or Educational background in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or other related fields
Experience with statistical software (SAS, R, etc.)
Physical Requirements
Typically sitting at a desk/table

Additional Information
This is a part-time temporary position classified as non-exempt.  The pay offered is based on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
