Dignity Health Medical Group is actively seeking a highly patient-centric physician to serve as a Nocturnist Hospitalist at our St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, AZ.
Responsibilities
- 180 shifts per year (primary schedule 7 on 7 off) consisting of purely nights (6:00 pm – 6:00 am)
- Two nocturnists are assigned during these shifts, affording a manageable workload. In addition, there are 2-3 residents/interns in the team. Average admissions 17/night for the whole team.
- Primary responsibility is on-site adult (admit and cross cover) inpatient care. Superb inhouse subspecialty support. Magnet hospital - rarely need to transfer a patient out!

- Academic affiliation with Internal Medicine residency program at Creighton University School of Medicine at Phoenix.
- Collaborative and cohesive hospitalist team with near 100% retention rate and exponential growth.
- Cerner EMR links all of our outpatient and inpatient facilities.
- Very competitive AMGA compensation model includes Base salary + Night incentive + wRVU productivity incentive + Quality Incentive.

- Closed ICU with 24/7 intensivists; ventilator management, procedures, running codes not required.
Qualifications
- MD or DO Degree
- BC/BE
- Must have or be eligible for Arizona State medical licensure
- Completed ACGME Residency training with current ABMS Board Certification
- Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
