What You Can Expect
As our Project Management Intern, in Columbus, OH at The Ohio State University you will be responsible for assisting an ENGIE project manager with the purchasing, document management, and invoicing for the Combined Heat and Powerplant (CHP) project. The position will assist with project management processes and will be expected to assist as needed. Every day you will report to the Project Manager I; and assist with materials procurement and subcontracting agreements related to the CHP project. This internship work term will be approximately from June 3, 2024-August 30, 2024.
What You'll Bring
You are a Junior or Senior actively pursuing BA or BS with a major in Contract Management and Procurement, Business, E.E.D.S.(environment, economy, development, sustainability), or equivalent
You have a GPA of 2.5 or higher
You have a minimum of 1 year completed course work within business, sustainability, finance or related program
You can handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy
You are proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel, with excellent oral, written, and communication skills
You possess strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills, with demonstrated ability to take initiative
Additional Details
This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
This role requires attendance at a worksiteon a weekly
Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license/might drive company vehicle
Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
This position consist of 10% of outdoor work, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions
Use of Microsoft Excel to track and report on various financial metrics for the project
Work cohesively with internal and external stakeholders and work closely on projects directly related to the university
Areas of possible work assignment include compiling financial data, timekeeping records, exposure to project management processes, and maintaining the procurement status report
Compensation
Salary Range: $22.00 to $23.50 USD hourly
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.
