Position Summary:
Arkansas State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, nine-month, Visiting Assistant Professor/Visiting Instructor of OB/HR position in the Department of Management, Marketing, and Supply Chain. This position begins August 2024
The Visiting Assistant Professor/Visiting Instructor of OB/HR will teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses preferably in general management, human resources, and organizational behavior topics and/or other specialty areas
Duties & Responsibilities:
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
Research, teaching and/or professional experience in human relations, small business management, leadership, corporate management, manufacturing management, and strategic planning is valued
General Days/Hours:
Classes are taught face-to-face and/or online
Traditional classes are scheduled:
Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. & Monday - Thursday evenings 5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Additional hours as requested and/or needed
Regular and reliable attendance expected

Preferred Qualifications:
Record of quality teaching both face-to-face and online
Minimum Qualifications:
An earned Ph.D. in Management or a closely related field from an AACSB-accredited school. ABDs from an AACSB-accredited school or an MBA with industry experience will also be considered if completed by August 2024
